If you answered “yes” to these questions, then apply to be in the YLC IMPACT21 Social Enterprise Academy today!

The IMPACT21 Social Enterprise Academy is a new five-week summer program that teaches and encourages young people to use 21st Century Skills like entrepreneurship and technology to make a positive impact on their community and to improve their chances of success. The program hosts 20 St. Louis Metro Area students entering the ninth and tenth grades.

As IMPACT21 participants, students will:

  • work in a challenging, fun environment with entrepreneurship instructors and mentors
  • participate in field experiences, workshops, and speaker engagements
  • work in teams to identify a current problem affecting local individuals and communities
  • develop an entrepreneurial project plan to address the problem
  • present their project plans to a panel of judges for special awards at the end of the Academy
  • plan, organize, and carry out their own community service project
  • earn income for participation

IMPACT21 Dates:

  • July 5th - August 5th, Monday through Friday (including one Saturday July 9th session)
  • 9am until 3pm
